Personal information refers to information that is recorded electronically or in other forms and related to identified or identifiable natural persons, excluding information obtained after anonymization. We may collect your personal information when you use Mateline X. You do not have to provide your personal information to us. However, in some cases, if you choose not to do so, we may not be able to provide you with relevant products or services, or respond to or solve your problems. We collect and use your personal information only for the purposes described in this Statement.
1.1 Huawei Employee InformationTo fulfill the contract, we will collect your following information based on your work requirements.

Generally, we will not disclose your personal information, except in the following scenarios:
After obtaining your consent, we may disclose necessary personal information related to services according to the agreed information disclosure solution. We ensure that all disclosure records (including the disclosure content, disclosure object, disclosure time, disclosure reason, and authorization information) are retained in the disclosure process. In addition, we will notify you by email within three workdays after the disclosure occurs in cooperation with law enforcement departments without affecting the privacy of law enforcement. Your personal information is safe during the disclosure process.
3 Your Rights in Personal Information ProcessingYou shall ensure that all the personal information you submit is accurate. We are dedicated to maintaining the accuracy and completeness of personal information and keeping it up-to-date.
To the extent required by applicable laws, you may have the rights to (1) view your personal information we maintain (by touching the avatar) and copy the information, (2) request us to update or correct your personal information, (3) reject or restrict to our processing of your personal information, (4) ask us to delete your personal information, and (5) request us to explain the personal information processing rules. To exercise these rights, please click here to give your feedback online. Your written request may be required for security. We may decline the requests if we have reasonable grounds to believe that the requests are fraudulent or unfeasible or may jeopardize the privacy of others. If allowed by applicable laws, you have the right to withdraw your consent (by touching the avatar and choose About > User agreement and privacy statement) at any time when Huawei processes your personal information based on your consent. However, withdrawal does not affect the legitimacy and effectiveness of how we process your personal information based on your consent before the withdrawal is made; nor does it affect any data processing based on another justification other than your consent.
4 How We Protect and Retain Your Personal InformationThe security of your personal information is important to us. We use appropriate physical, management, and technical measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, use, modification, damage, or loss. For example, we use cryptographic technologies for data confidentiality, protection mechanisms to prevent attacks, and access control mechanisms to permit only authorized access to your personal information. We also provide training on security and privacy protection for employees to raise their awareness of personal information protection. While we take the utmost care to protect your personal information, please note that no security measures are completely infallible. Your personal information collected by Mateline X will be uploaded and stored on OWS in one of the OWS data centers in China, Singapore, South Africa, Russia, France, Ireland, and Mexico (the one you choose to interconnect with). We will retain your personal information within the period necessary to achieve the purposes stated in this Statement, unless an extension of the retention period is required or permitted by laws. The data retention period may vary with scenario, product, and service. The standards we use to determine the retention period are as follows: the time required to retain personal information to fulfill business purposes, including providing products and services; maintaining corresponding transaction and business records; controlling and improving the performance and quality of products and services; ensuring the security of systems, products, and services; handling possible user queries or complaints and locating problems; whether the user agrees to a longer retention period; whether the laws, contracts, and other equivalences have special requirements for data retention. After you deregister your account (for example, the contract expires), we will stop providing products and services for this account, retain your account information for 90 days without special legal requirements, and delete or anonymize your personal information. In case of support that may be required after the contract expires, we will retain your contact information, log information, device information, and other information for 90 days after the account is deregistered or the contract expires, and then delete or anonymize them. In the event of a personal information disclosure, we will initiate the emergency response process to prevent the incident from escalating. We will notify you of security risks and corresponding responsibilities within seven workdays through pushing notifications or bulletins. To protect your personal information more effectively, we hope that you can improve your self-protection awareness and properly maintain your account and password information to prevent personal information leakage. We only promise to be liable for information leakage caused by OWS.
5 How We Process Minors' Personal InformationOur products and services are intended for adults and do not involve the handling of minors' personal information (the age of majority is subject to the stipulation by local laws). If we find we have collected minors' personal information, we will attempt to delete the information as soon as possible.
6 Third-party SDK 6.1 Third-Party SDK ListTo provide you with better services, we will connect to the software development kits (SDKs) provided by the third party. See Third-Party SDK List. To ensure the security of your personal information, we will strictly check the security of the SDKs provided by the partners. With the updates and iterations of product functions, we may modify the third-party SDKs that we connect to and update the latest connection information in this document. In addition, the types of the obtained data may change due to version upgrade and policy adjustment of the third-party SDKs. For details, see the official statements.
6.2 Information Sharing with Third PartiesWe will conduct strict privacy and security due diligence before introducing a partner. To meet new service requirements or accommodate service feature changes, we may change our partners, in which case we will explicitly update you about the changes in this description in a timely manner. Please carefully read the privacy policies of the partners to learn about how they will use the shared information. 7 International Transfers of Your Personal InformationHuawei is a global company. As such, the personal information we collect may be processed or accessed in countries or regions where you use our products or services, or in other countries or regions where we or our affiliates, subsidiaries, service providers, or business partners have a presence. OWS deploys data centers in China, Singapore, South Africa, Russia, France, Ireland, and Mexico based on Huawei Cloud (HC), and implements physical isolation by distributing resources and servers in different jurisdictions. These countries or regions may have different data protection laws. In such cases, we will take measures to ensure that the collected data is handled according to the requirements of this Statement and applicable laws. For example, when transferring your personal information from the EU to countries or regions which have not been acknowledged by the EU as having an adequate level of data protection, we will take all legal mechanisms to secure your personal information, including signing standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission, requesting for your consent on the transferring of your personal information, and implementing security measures like anonymizing personal information before transfers. You can click here to obtain a copy of the EU's standard contractual clauses. If you are a user in the Chinese mainland, your personal information will be stored on servers in the Chinese mainland.
8 Required PermissionsWhen you use Mateline X, you may need to provision some device permissions, such as storage, camera, microphone, Internet access, location, and app update. You can check the permission statuses on your mobile device and choose some or all permissions you want to grant or deny. Even with your authorization, Mateline X will collect only the data necessary for the functions or services you are using. The purposes of the permissions are as follows: (a) Storage (Media and files or Photos): You can choose to grant this permission when you use this app, so that you can read, upload, and download files (including images, videos, recordings, log files, and other types of attachments), and modify or delete files in your device's storage space. (b) Internet access permission: When you access our services in this app, you need to enable this permission to connect to this app. (c) Network status access permission: When you use our services in this app, we need to read the network status of your device so that you can work offline. (d) App installation permission: When you use the app update function, you need to enable this permission to install the latest app. (e) Location permission: When you use map navigation, clock in or out, watermarks, or location collection in this app, you need to enable this permission to obtain the current location, GPS coordinates, and longitude and latitude of your device. (f) Device status: When you use our services in this app, we need to obtain your device type and device model to record device service logs and store the logs to your device's storage space. (g) Camera permission: When you use this app to take photos or videos, scanning codes, or make video calls, you need to enable this permission. (h) Microphone permission: When you make video or voice calls, or send voice messages in the app, you need to enable this permission. (i) App list permission: When you use our services in this app, we need to access your installed app list to check that the location information comes from the installed virtual location software and that the location information is authentic and reliable. (j) Backend permission: When you use this app to perform offline tasks and collect location information, you need to enable this permission.
9 How This Statement Is UpdatedWe reserve the right to update or change this statement from time to time. If our privacy statement changes, we will post the latest privacy statement here. If major changes are made to this Statement, we may notify you via different channels, such as by posting a notification through the app or sending you direct notification.
